On 18 October, 2023, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin received copy of Credentials of the newly appointed UNICEF Representative in Tajikistan Mr. Arthur van Diesen.

 

 

 

 

After the ceremony, the parties also discussed issues of cooperation between Tajikistan and UNICEF, including the process of implementation of the Country Program Document for the 2023 – 2026 period and the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development.

On April 25, 2023, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Farhod Salim, received the copies of сredentials of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Republic of Tajikistan Muhammad Saeed Sarwar.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current level of political and economic relations and other important bilateral issues.

 

 

 

The Deputy Foreign Minister congratulated the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on his appointment and wished him success in his diplomatic activities in Tajikistan.

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev receives newly appointed Ambassadors of Kazakhstan

2022
The President received Beibut Atamkulov, newly appointed Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Uzbekistan. During the conversation, the Head of State stressed the importance of further deepening strategic partnership and allied relations, as well as strengthening good neighborliness between the two countries. The President drew attention to the need for effective implementation of previously reached high-level agreements.

The Head of State also received Alibek Bakayev, newly appointed Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Austria, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the International Organizations in Vienna. During the meeting, the President noted the need to strengthen ties with Austria and relevant international organizations. According to him, Kazakhstan attaches special importance to the development of trade, economic and investment cooperation with the Republic of Austria.

 

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev set a number of specific tasks for the diplomats to further strengthen cooperation between Kazakhstan and partner states in bilateral and multilateral formats.
