On June 9, 2024, a meeting of the International Advisory Committee (IAC) of the Dushanbe Water Process was held in advance of the Third High-Level International Conference on the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development” 2018-2028.

The meeting was chaired by IAC Co-Chairman Sulton Rahimzoda, Chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan with participation of permanent members of the IAC and their representatives, invited guests and other interested parties.

Within the framework of the meeting the members of the International Advisory Committee discussed and presented their comments and proposals on finalization of the Final Document of the 3rd Conference on the Water Action Decade Conference, which was presented by the International Consultant on preparation and holding of the Conference Kelly Ann Naylor. An initial draft of the Outcome Document was circulated in May this year to UN Member States, international organizations and other stakeholders.

In early June, after receiving comments and proposals from states and organizations, including members of the International Steering Committee of the Dushanbe Water Process and the Steering Committee of the Group of Friends of Water under the UN and other interested experts, the draft document was finalized.

9 Haziran 2024’te, Duşanbe Su Süreci Uluslararası Danışma Komitesi’nin (IAC) bir toplantısı, “Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma için Su” 2018-2028 Uluslararası Eylem On Yılı Üçüncü Üst Düzey Uluslararası Konferansı öncesinde gerçekleştirildi.

Toplantıya IAC Eş Başkanı Sulton Rahimzoda, Tacikistan Cumhuriyeti Devlet Yatırımlar ve Devlet Mülk Yönetimi Komitesi Başkanı Sulton Rahimzoda başkanlık etti ve IAC’nin daimi üyeleri ve temsilcileri, davetli konuklar ve diğer ilgili tarafların katılımıyla gerçekleşti.

Toplantı çerçevesinde Uluslararası Danışma Komitesi üyeleri, Uluslararası Danışman tarafından Su Eylem On Yılı Konferansı’nın hazırlanması ve gerçekleştirilmesine ilişkin sunulan 3. Su Eylemi On Yılı Konferansı Nihai Belgesinin nihai hale getirilmesine ilişkin yorum ve önerilerini tartıştı ve sundu. Konferans Kelly Ann Naylor. Sonuç Belgesinin ilk taslağı bu yılın Mayıs ayında BM Üye Devletlerine, uluslararası kuruluşlara ve diğer paydaşlara dağıtıldı.

Haziran başında, Duşanbe Su Süreci Uluslararası Yönlendirme Komitesi ve BM Su Dostları Grubu Yönlendirme Komitesi üyeleri ve diğer ilgili uzmanlar da dahil olmak üzere devlet ve kuruluşlardan yorum ve teklifler alındıktan sonra taslak belgeye son şekli verildi. .
